Amgen Tour of California
The Amgen Tour of California came to Solvang yesterday for its annual time trial stage. Francis took the day off to join record crowds (twice as many as last year!). He rode his bike all the way there. Despite the huge crowds, we happened to run into some old friends from our Hollywood days.

Mothballs
We spent today's perfect morning in Goleta at the Mothballs Criterium race. Maya and I came to show our support for Team Beer.
It was a big field of over 50 riders and Francis finished with the pack. Luckily there were no crashes like in his last criterium. This video shows Francis on a solo breakaway for 2 laps. Yeah!!
