One of my biggest hopes is that these two stay best friends forever.
Love them!

Beach Day!

Reason #8238 why I love living in Santa Barbara: perfect 80 degree beach days! I think this is everyone's favorite place in the world - dogs included.

We finally got the boogie boards out of the attic.  I have a feeling we're going to have little surfers on our hands.

Look at these tired faces....success!!

Spring Visit

Mimene and Fanfan came to visit and they chose a great weekend.  The weather was perfect and we were able to spend a lot of time outdoors. Maddox was not feeling well but nothing keeps that kid down for long.
The doggies waiting for them to arrive - and barking at everyone walking by
The tide pools were all visible at the beach from the storm the week before and so many shells were out on the sand.  Zoe was in heaven. There are shells everywhere in our yard now. :)

That is not a poop bag, that is what she was using to collect her shells  :)
Twinsies!  I wish there were more mommy/daughter matching dresses and clothes!
Cooling down after the beach...
Mimene and Fanfan brought the kids some t-ball sets ... they were a hit!

Zoe is still a tree climber...
And the kids suckered the grandparents to pull them around the yard in the wagon. They demanded that they run...  hilarious.  Thank goodness no one had a heart attack!  haha

Painting is always a hit ...

Playing Hungry Hungry Hippo with Mimene
Getting a kiss from Jagger
And Zoe's artwork..she was very proud of this (can you see the Hello Kitty?)

Rain!

We finally got some much needed rain in Santa Barbara last weekend. There may be hope for our grass after all!  The kids couldn't wait to grab the umbrella, get their rain boots on and play outside.

Poor Francis had to clean out the front gutters in the middle of a huge downpour. What a stud. He seemed to enjoy it as much as he enjoyed me taking this picture of him.  ;)

Jagger thought the rain was pretty great.  He especially liked running around in the mud, digging up fresh holes and then running throughout the house with muddy paws.
As great at it was to finally get some rain but, I have to admit, I 'm grateful that the forecast is predicting normal SB sunshine for the next couple of weeks.
