Who's Your Mama

So I will admit, Zoe has been saying "dada" for a while now and it's been making me jealous. But she has FINALLY decided to say "mama!" And I caught it on video! Talk about perfect timing.

10 Months on Father's Day!

We celebrated Francis' first Father's Day in Capitola with mom and dad before heading back home. It was a perfect morning: sunshine, a great parking spot, good food and a happy baby.

Today is also Zoe's 10 month birthday! Happy birthday sweet, little Zoe!
She waves, claps and gives kisses all the time. It's facinating to see her little personality develop. Here she is giving Mimene a slobbery kiss.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!!!

Just Yesterday...

....my little cousin David was just 7 years old. Where does the time go?? He's now 26 and, as of yesterday, officially a husband. :)

Congrats David and Jennie! I couldn't be happier for you!

Pop Up Pool

We were limited with what we could do this weekend since Zoe was not feeling very well but we were able to sneak in a few fun moments.
Natalie came to visit Saturday evening - here she is loving on Zoe. I think maybe Zoe got her curls from Nat :)
Sunday was a lot warmer so we decided to set up the new pop up pool in the yard. Maya and I worked on our tans while Zoe and Francis splashed around in the water. This pool was a GREAT investment!

Little Monkey

Zoe is all over the place these days. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like once she starts walking! Here are some pictures of her climbing all over the couch.

Sidenote: her hair is getting SO curly!

Drive-in

Ever since Zoe was born, Francis and I have only been to see one movie in a theater. But we had heard that the old Santa Barbara drive-in theater reopened in May so we decided last minute to go check it out on Saturday night. We folded down the 3rd row seat in the back of the highlander to make a comfy bed for Zoe - we had our fingers crossed that she would sleep throughout the movie and she did!

For those who don't know, this drive-in originally opened in 1966 but closed in 1991 for 19 years.
And Milkduds were only $2! :)
