Spring Break
Little Piggies had their spring break this week so I took a couple of days off work to watch the kiddos. It was so much fun just hanging out with them, going on long walks (with Maya of course) and hitting up the parks. Here are some swing pictures - Zoe could swing all day long if I let her.
Maddox was pretty happy swinging in the big boy swing as well. Zoe insisted on pushing him and gave everyone the stink eye that came near him. She's such a good little bodyguard.

And now with the longer days, Zoe and I have been going on bike rides. We can't get enough - so fun!

Does He or Doesn't He...
...like his first taste of "real" food?
He thought it was interesting for sure...he didn't love it but he definitely liked it more than Zoe did when she first tried something other than milk. I tried add the video but for some reason it won't upload :(
Remember when Zoe first tried carrots?

Farmer's Market
Reason #1386 why Santa Barbara is such an amazing place to live: there is a Farmer's Market every day of the week. So Saturday morning we took the double stroller out and headed downtown to get some fresh produce.
Both kids were really well behaved. Maddox fell asleep within 20 minutes and Zoe was content people watching (and eating her banana muffin).
And we had to stop by Carlito's on our way home to indulge in some tacos and margaritas :)

Random Pictures
We haven't been doing much these past couple of weeks, nothing really exciting to report. But thought I'd share a handful of my favorite recent pictures.
Natalie came to town last weekend and gave Zoe her first pedicure :)
I love the look on Maddox's face in this one.
Zoe is obsessed with chap stick and lip gloss. She easily goes through an entire stick of chap stick in a day and demands to sleep with it. But as a result she walks around with her lips puckered all day long.
Meanwhile, Maddox has his own obsession - his feet.

5 Months!
Our little man is already 5 months old! He has been in daycare full time now that Francis and I are both back at work and we hear that Zoe is very protective of her "Waddox" at school. He's rolling over both ways, is obsessed with his feet, is always smiling and now does this really high pitch screeching sound when he wants attention. Our goal for the next month: to get him to sleep without being swaddled!
