She Told Us!

We've been encouraging Zoe to practice her handwriting and she's taking it very seriously.  She steals all my printer paper and leaves us notes around the house.

This was was posted on Maddox's door:

"Closing time today. On a vacation.  Time today for resting."

And this one was posted on her bathroom door:

"Do not forget the rules I said.  I told you, I said if you have to go pee pee, go in my bathroom  If you have to go poop, go in your bathroom."

She takes her bathroom rules very seriously.  ;)

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day celebrations are getting more fun now that the kids are older.  Zoe wrote out all of her valentine's day cards by herself this year (forgot to take a picture)!

100th Day of School

Zoe's school is celebrating their 100th day of the school year by having all the kids dress up as a 100 year old person and basing all the day's activities around the "100" theme.  Our neighbor let us borrow one of his 8 (!!) canes and we put baby powder in her hair to make it look gray.  Not sure I achieved the 100 year old look but it was a fun morning trying.

Maddox, on the other hand, was not having a good morning.  He apparently was not impressed by his sister's new look.
