Stand By Me

A friend of mine just shared this video with me and I thought I'd share it with all of you. It is amazing!

This cover of Stand By Me was recorded by unknown artists all around the world and put together by Playing for Change (Playing for Change and Concord Music Group are a non-profit organization that helps bring music into the lives of disadvantaged youth). This particular recording started the streets of Santa Monica, California. From there it was taken New Orleans, Europe, Africa, and South America. Multiple instruments and vocals were assembled in this final video version.

Girl's Weekend

I spent this past weekend with some of my closest girlfriends in San Francisco for our annual girl's trip. We hit up the town (Kim's favorite, and nightly, spot was Lefty O'douls) shopped for 8 hours around Union Square and ate a ton of delicious food. It was over before I knew it but so wonderful to see everyone again.

Happy Easter!

Yesterday was the Miller's Annual Easter Party and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day to spend outdoors. Teri is definitely the best hotstess in town :)

We filled countless number of eggs and hid them in the huge backyard while the kids went and played their softball game. Fun to think that Baby Girl Avila will be there next year!

Francis got to spend some quality time with Nathan who is finally back on his feet (kind of). Check out these two troublemakers:

Antigua

It's been a while since I've posted anything...truth is, we've been pretty boring lately. Saving up for a house, baby, etc.... But we finally have some fun updates.

Francis and I go on a trip every year to celebrate our anniversary. So this year, to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary, we decided to spend a week in beautiful Antigua! We were in the Eastern Caribbean with 80 degree weather at an all-inclusive resort on one of the best beaches on the island. What else can you possibly ask for?

We spent most of our days lounging at the beautiful white sand beach...

The food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the themed buffets at the open air restaurant, the fancy dinners and, our favorite, Mary's BBQ Shack.

We did get our butts off the beach to visit St. John's for a little history and shopping.

We took a walk over to Devil's Bridge...

Overall, it was a great trip! Time to start planning for 2010!
