Happiness Is...Swinging!

(Ok, the title of this post is kind of funny...lol)

We just put up this new swing for Zoe in the backyard and she abosolutely loves it. It's definitely one of the better purchases we've made lately.

Look at all those oranges coming in! Anyone want some?

6 Month Stats

Our little munchkin went to her 6 month checkup today and she left with a glowing review from her pediatrician. :)

As promised, here are her latest stats:

Weight: 17.5 pounds (80th percentile)

Height: 26 inches (60th percentile)

She grew 2 inches in 2 months!

6 Months Already!

Happy 6 month birthday, Zoe!

You are so much more than we could have ever dreamed of!

We love you!!

We don't have her exact weight or height measurements but she has a doctor's appointment on Monday. I can't wait to see how much she's grown since her last appointment!

When Dads Dress Their Little Girls

Weekend Roundup

Zoe, Francis, Maya and I had a super busy weekend. We drove up to Folsom after work on Friday to celebrate dad's "50-ish" birthday. The drive usually takes us about 6 hours but this time around it was closer to 7 hours. This is one big state we live in.

We started Saturday off with a nice loooooong walk at the lake. Afterwards, Francis and I went to see Avatar while mom and dad babysat Zoe. It was the first movie we've seen in a theater in about a year! We wrapped up the night with a yummy birthday steak dinner and ice cream (of course).

Sunday mom made crepes for breakfast and then we took off to meet the Sheffield's at the park before lunch. Zoe is finally big enough to fit in the swings! Avery is getting so big - it's crazy to think that Zoe will be like this in a year. And I am convinced that Mark doesn't age.

Pre-Meltdown

Zoe is teething and is a sad little baby these days but we were able to capture a few pictures of her smiling before her meltdown later in the evening. And Maya always seems to make her smile. :)


There's nothing quite like baby giggles...

Morning Cuteness

Here we are...before heading to work and daycare. Zoe has on her pink ugg's (thanks Kim!) and her favorite sweater (thanks Rosana!). This is why it's so hard to go to work ... she's just too cute to want to send off to daycare!
