Yearly Check Ups

We took both kids to their 3 year and 1 year check ups this week. Both are perfect and healthy!

Taken on our way to a wedding ... these two are just too cute for words.

Zoe's 3 year stats:

• Height - 38.25" (80th percentile)
• Weight - 36 lbs (85th percentile)
• Personality - Social (and opinionated) Butterfly

Maddox's 1 year stats :

• Height - 29" (25th percentile)
• Weight -23 lbs 2 oz (60th percentile)
• Personality - Curious Monkey

Birthday Weekend!

We decided to have Maddox's 1st birthday party at the house this year.  It was SO much easier to keep it on location. I was originally worried about not having enough space but it turns out I had nothing to worry about!  Here are the pictures from his birthday weekend celebration.

 We set up several "stations" of kid activities.  We had a "fishing station," a "painting station," a "golf station," a "basketball station" and a roll around and crawl station.

Birthday Boy!

Happy 1st Birthday, Maddox!!!

Maddox 10 days old

• Favorite food: cheese, yogurt, anything sweet
• Other likes: bath-time, music, Zoe and Maya
• Dislikes: diaper changes, getting strapped in his car seat, high chairs
• Favorite toys: balls, dump truck, fridge magnets, anything he can bang
• Schedule: goes to sleep at 7:30, wakes around 6am
• Teeth: 2 bottom (but top 2 look like they're almost ready)
• Walking skills: officially walking as of a week ago!!!

Quality Time with Z

Zoe and I usually go on a bike ride together every Sunday while Maddox takes his morning nap.  She is such a little chatterbox the entire time, I love it. Last Sunday was a warm one so we rode down to the pier and Zoe got some ice cream while I enjoyed a cool glass of white.

Francis and I had tickets to go see the Black Keys play at the Santa Barbara Bowl and we decided last minute to take Zoe with us and she loved it!  I think she liked people watching the best. She made it all the way to the start of the encore which was amazing considering she's only 3!  She was the only kid there...what a rock star!

Such a GREAT concert.  Amazing live!

I think all of SB must have been there, it was so packed!
