The Dump

Zoe's daycare went on a field trip to the DUMP yesterday. They went to the dump and recycling center since they've been learning about recycling, the environment and celebrating Earth Day this month. All kids had to wear hard hats and orange vests.  TOO cute!

Everyday Stuff...

I can't believe 2 weeks have already passed since I've updated the blog. Time flies. We haven't been doing that much, just trying to enjoy the beautiful Santa Barbara weather and going for ice cream runs to stay cool. Our neighbors invited us over one afternoon so the girls can get some "pool time." This picture was not photo-shopped. Yes, that is the actual pool size. Maddox has been practicing on his sitting skills. He can now sit on his own for a few minutes at a time with no support. He still prefers his bumbo seat though. Look at this face...

We've been spending a lot of time out in the backyard, laying out, reading and relaxing.

Zoe has been obsessing over the tattoos that the Easter bunny brought her. Maddox even got in on it. Here she is picking one out... she decided on the owl.

And Maya and I got a good hike in last weekend - the old lady still has it :)

6 Month Stats

Maddox just had his 6 month check up and got another glowing review from his pediatrician. He was all smiles throughout the appointment and only cried for 15 seconds while getting his shots. He's a tough little guy!

Weight: 16 pounds 12 ounces (40th percentile)
Height: 26 inches (35th percentile)

Easter 2012

Easter was so much fun this year especially now that Zoe is a little older and believes in the Easter Bunny. The lucky girl had 2 Easter egg hunts this year - one at daycare and one at home.

Maddox was content just watching and learning the ropes for next year.

Checking out the goods on the way home - I'm proud to say that she shared her prized chocolate with mommy.

The Easter Bunny came again on Sunday morning. He delivered a pretty sweet basket:
