Olaf's Sleepover

Olaf came over for a sleepover with Zoe's friend, Kaylee, the other weekend.  They had a ton of fun and were really well behaved!
Olaf gave the girls pointers on the best way to color a picture of Elsa.
He also had a lot to say when we went to ColorMeMine ...
...and he was really excited that he didn't get paint on himself.
Dressing up before dinner
As expected, the girls ignored the little brother.
Guess who kept trying to order a frozen margarita at dinner ?
Success!

Natalie's in Austin!

Yay! Natalie came to visit us in Austin!  We ate a lot of BBQ, tried to stay warm and overall had a great time.  Thanks again for visiting, Natalie!
At the Salt Lick .. mmmmm
Things just got real.
Our picky eater hiding from the food
We did a little local beer tasting at Twisted X Brew Co and you can see that we enjoyed the live music and, of course, the beer...

These tree carvings were pretty cool.

I *may* have trimmed his bangs myself...

Fighting over who gets to open the door

Yup
Natalie and I spent an afternoon downtown to get some local culture in.  We hit up Graffiti Hill, The Capital Building and South Congress.

This picture cracks me up

At Uncommon Objects on S Congress....a huge antique store with the most random items

Here are a couple of pictures Nat shared with me  :)

Natalie came to visit us on perhaps the coldest week of the year  - she likes it cold so she was happy about it - but she'll have to come when it's warmer next time so she can see what else Austin has to offer!

Austin Zoo

We took the kids to visit the Austin Zoo a few weeks ago on a very clear but very cold day. The Zoo is also an animal sanctuary which rescues and rehabilitates animals (which made me like it even more).  It's not very big and even has a train ride which is perfect for kids.
