Zoe had her one month appointment this morning -- here are her current stats:

Fashion Week

Zoe had her very own fashion week with Mimene in town. She had to look her best--what a show off. ;)

Visitors

Zoe sure is popular. Just look at all the visitors we've had recently! Aunt Natalie joined us this past weekend. She couldn't get enough of her new niece - too cute.

And this week, Mimene (mom's "grandma" substitute nickname) flew down to Santa Barbara to spend time with her grandaughter ... and daughter. Here are a few pictures of her first day here.

Today is Francis' 34th birthday!

We can't go out to busy public places with Zoe just yet so we are taking it easy today and making it all about his favorite things.

Coffee and pastries. Check.
Morning at the beach with his girls. Check.
Watch movie on his new blue ray DVD player. Check.
USC game. Check.
Ceviche lunch with a cold beer. Check.
Ice cream sandwiches made with homemade cookies. Check.
Chilled champagne ready for sunset watch on porch. Check.

Ahhhh....don't you just love birthdays? :)

First Beach Outing

We finally took Zoe on her first of what is sure to be many beach exursions this morning. I don't know who was more excited... Maya, who couldn't wait to fetch her ball, or me who couldn't wait to get out of the house. :)

Zoe slept the whole time, totally content in her Moby Wrap.

It was a beautiful day - humid and warm.

I love this town.

2 Week Checkup

Zoe had her 2 week doctor's appointment this morning and she received raving reviews from her pediatrician. Here are her current stats:

Weight: 8 lbs 4 oz (only 2 oz less than when she was born)
Height: 20.25 inches

She is gaining about an ounce a day -what a little piglet!
