May Fun

We had a lot of fun in May - did some old things and discovered new things.

Maddox finally got a haircut.  We tried as hard as we could to grow it out but we just have to accept that he won't ever have that long beachy boy hair.  It's way too straight!
We had fun experimenting before chopping it all off.

We also went to our first Polo match!  Loved this - and definitely making this an annual event!

I spent quality time putting together puzzles (I know, I'm an old lady ... sometimes).

The Natural History Museum is always a hit and this year they had the T-Rex exhibit which was amazing.  We are so lucky to get these types of exhibits to our small town.

Maddox and Massey

The iMadonnari Festival is also takes place in May - always one of my favorites.

Zoe's school's chalk art!

Maddox finally started to learn how to ride his "big boy" bike.  It may take a bit more time before he feels confident on it but it's a start!
Zoe made this at school for Mother's Day, she is too funny.  "My mom is as pretty as a sparkling flower. My moms is as nice as a butterfly.  My mom is as funny as a clown in a circus.  My mom is as sweet as a bunny grazing in a field.  My mom is as smart as a dolphin swimming in the sea.  My mom is as cool as me."  That last one got me, love that kid.
Kellogg School had a sing-a-long ... too cute.

And the car show on State Street is always a hit with everyone - especially Francis  :)

We entered a contest to win this car... I think I'd look good driving it.

This girl...no fear

Day in the Valley

Mimene and Fanfan came to visit - we ended up doing something different this time around headed up to Los Olivos for a nice lunch at Sides (our new favorite spot - so good) and some wine tasting at Rusack.

Finally a picture of the four of them together - and everyone is smiling!
Silly faces
Sketching at Rusack
Trains keeps this boy entertained no matter where we're at.

He did not want to take any pictures

Random April Fun

"My favorite character in a book is Minie Mouse because she is kind and real" - Zoe grade 1

"I have nice hands.  I help others get out of the mud if they are stuck." - Maddox, preschool
We bought a $35 pool from Costco and it was the best purchase ever made.  The amount of time the kids spent in this thing was ridiculous.

Some of Zoe's artwork - love.
