Pre-K Graduation!

I was finally able to recover some pictures (after dumping my phone in the toilet) from Zoe's preschool graduation! I still can't believe that my baby girl will be going to Kindergarten in the fall.  I know she will miss her friends terribly, this group of kids have been together for almost 4 years, but I also know that my little social butterfly will be ok.

Happy Father's Day!!

Happy father's day to all the great dads out there - special shout out to Francis, Fanfan, Grandpa Wayne and Grandpa Joseph. We love you all and appreciate everything you do for us!

Late May Posts

I'm a little embarrassed at how long it's been since I've last posted.  We've had a lot of things going on in our lives (more on that later) and the last thing I want to do at the end of a crazy day is to be on my computer for a minute longer!  May was a super busy month for us... here are some of the things we've been up to:

Sneaking into the Lemon Tree Inn's pool  :)   It was a really warm week and the kids go a little nutty without air conditioning.  We snuck into the pool and we were able to enjoy some relief from the heat for about an hour ... until we got kicked out. It was totally worth it!

 The kids are always together at home and never get to sleep unless they are both in the room.  Lately, Maddox has been wanting to cuddle with his sister which is adorable.  Here they are watching Frozen (for the 50th time) on the iPad.

 I don't know how they can sleep like this!

Mother's day rolled around and Mimene and Fanfan came to visit.  We had a great time, ate dinner outside at Carlitos, walked around on State St. and relaxed at home.  Always good to see the good old grandparents.  The kids LOVE it when they visit.

 Then we gave Maddox a haircut later on that day. It was pretty easy as long as he had a lollipop.  It's amazing how different he looks with short hair!

 Zoe and her girlfriends had a sleepover to celebrate Claire's 5th birthday - we all met up the next day at the carousel.  Maddox was too scared to get on a horse - but was just as excited to be it the bench seat with Sammy.
