Sunday Funday

I took the kids on a bike ride today down to the Wharf. They love the bike trailer and especially like to remind me that I'm not going fast enough for them. So demanding these kids!

We ended up at the Maritime Museum and the kids had the chance to pet sharks and pick up crabs and starfish. They were so into it, we definitely have to get an annual pass to this place!

I treated them to ice cream afterwards where I was able to take a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful view of SB. I love this town!

It's getting harder and harder to get them back home up the State Street hill having to pull an extra 80+ pounds. Maddox fell asleep on the way back as Zoe reminded me how slow I was going. Gotta love these moments ;)

Ice Cream Truck

Zoe finally had her first ice cream truck experience!

This truck usually zooms by too fast for us to catch it but we were ready for it today! I'm sure that the music will have a Pavlov's Dog effect from here on out ;)

Prepping for school pics

We found out today that Maddox has a broken finger. (It's a long story but it happened a couple of weeks ago when his sister slammed the door shut on it.) Then yesterday, he and Jagger were playing on the couch and Jagger stepped on his face giving him a black eye. And because things happen in 3's, the poor kid falls down at school today and gets a big egg on his forehead. All this...right in time for school pictures tomorrow!!

Nothing can stop him from smiling :)

Swim Classes 2.0

Zoe started swim classes again a few weeks ago and I'm such a proud mom :) Although she doesn't swim on her own yet, she has been getting braver and braver each week. She now dunks her head all the way under water and floats on her back (with a little help). 

I cannot wait until she actually swims on her own!!
